Malachi 4:6

The passion of GFI is to honor God the Father by healing father wounds, putting healthy fathers back in the home and restoring the noble role of the earthly father.

The four pillars of our strategy are:

HEALING
TRAINING
ENCOURAGING
RESTORING

Healing is listed as the first pillar in our strategy because true, lasting growth and/or
change cannot take place until healing occurs. The human soul is formed, deformed and transformed in relationships, the most significant of these being within the family of origin. Any lasting commitment to Fathering cannot take place without healing for childhood wounds. Please click on Father Facts to see the latest research.

"Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, the Father'."
Galatians 4:6

". . . Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, 'Abba Father'."
Romans 8:15

"There is a battle being fought daily for the family in every country, every city and on every farm in the world. The family is a major battle ground, and children are the collateral damage over and over again. Father Deprivation is the desolation that children are suffering as this battle rages.

The back drop necessary to enable you to understand the Father Deprivation epidemic in America and around the world is the spiritual nature and purpose of fathering. Fathering is more than biological; it is relational and spiritual."
